Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take a commission on entry fees?
Zero percent, always. Entry fees route directly to your Stripe account via Stripe Connect — Racey never touches the money. The only fees are Stripe's standard processing rates (typically 2.9% + 30¢). This isn't a promo; it's a permanent commitment.
Which sim platforms does Racey support?
Any sim that can export a CSV results file. Admins import CSV exports from iRacing, ACC, rFactor 2, AMS2, or any other simulator — standings update automatically. iRacing also gets a deep integration (cust_id linking, public-profile eligibility checks, and OAuth) once iRacing reopens new client signups for partner API access. How does the protest and steward system work?
Drivers file protests with video evidence and timestamps. Stewards receive blinded cases (no names visible), vote independently, and issue rulings with specific penalty types. Drivers can appeal, and all decisions are tracked for precedent.
Can I migrate my existing league to Racey?
Yes. We provide CSV import tools for historical results, standings, and driver rosters. Our onboarding team can help Pro and Enterprise customers with complex migrations.
Is there a limit on the number of races per season?
No. All plans support unlimited rounds per season AND unlimited concurrent seasons. Free limits are on league count (1), teams (6), staff (3), and steward seats (2) — not on drivers, seasons, or events.
Can I use custom scoring systems?
Absolutely. Pro plans get full access to the scoring engine — custom position points, configurable bonuses (pole, fastest lap, clean race, etc.), drop weeks, heat racing, stage scoring, and multi-class configurations.
Is analytics really free?
Yes. Full driver, season, and league analytics are on the Free tier as of 2026 — no paywall on your own data. We moved it from Pro when we realized leagues need to see their numbers to decide whether to keep running the league. If you ever outgrow Free limits (teams, staff, or multi-league), Pro is $4.99/mo — but your analytics come with you.
